Sprawl is a shared pixel board. You buy credits, and credits let you paint pixels. One credit paints one pixel for thirty days. After that the pixel expires and the space returns to the board unless you renew it.
Credits are a prepaid licence to display pixels for a period. They are not money, not a store of value, not transferable for cash, and not refundable once spent. Unspent credits stay on your account while the account exists.
Your pixels can be painted over by other people. That is the point of the board. Doing so costs them three times what you paid, or twenty times if they are only clipping the edge of your work rather than taking it over, and you are compensated in credits for what you lose. Nothing you place is permanent.
No content that is unlawful, that sexualises minors, that incites violence or hatred against people, that impersonates someone, that infringes copyright you do not hold, or that attempts to deceive viewers into giving up credentials or money. Report anything that breaks this and a moderator will look. Upheld reports remove the art and pay the reporter a bounty.
We may remove content and suspend accounts for breaking these rules. Credits spent on removed content are not refunded.
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what your account does. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu, which removes your pixels, plots and history. Cancel any subscription first.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your card. Subscriptions renew until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the paid period. Credit packs are one-off purchases.
Sprawl is provided as-is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that pixels will be visible to any particular number of people, or that the board will exist forever. If we shut it down we will say so in advance and stop taking payments.
